High Glycemic Food Triggers Diabetes

The main cause of diabetes is not caused by excess sugar. According to research, foods with a high glycemic index is the culprit of diabetes. The glycemic index (GI) is an indicator of fast or slow carbohydrates in the food element in improving blood sugar levels in the body. Foods with a low GI safer for people with diabetes and obesity.

Results of analysis of 24 studies published since 1997 and 125,000 people trace dietary adults concluded that people who consume less fiber and processed foods often increased risk of having diabetes.
