Avoid Habits That Causing Heartburn

Heartburn is the term for a hot sensation in the chest caused by stomach acid rising up into the esophagus. Heartburn is generally triggered by food, drug, until bad habits such as smoking or sleep after eating.

Heartburn it will interfere with your activities. Especially if it happens during sleep, heartburn will reduce the quality of sleep. So what needs to be done to avoid heartburn?

1. Avoid smoking.

2. Avoid eating a lot and fatty.

3. Avoid extreme sports.

5. Do not wear tight belts or clothing in the lumbar region.

Tight clothing around the waist will hit the stomach, so stomach acid can rise to the esophagus. Also, make sure your bed clothes loose so as not to put pressure on the stomach.

6. Do not sleep after eating.

Sleep after eating increases the risk of acid reflux into the esophagus. Then make sure to sleep 2 hours after eating. You also can use a pillow that makes your head higher than the body during sleep.
