Hypertension in Children Often Not Detected

High blood pressure or hypertension occurs not only in adults, children can also experience it. The number of people among the children also increased from only about 1-3 per cent to 10 per cent of the total population.

Kidney disease cause hypertension include hypervolemia. This is the current state of an individual experiencing or at risk of excess intracellular fluid. This happens due to sodium and water retention that causes increased heart pressure. Another cause is the reduced vasodilator substances, which are substances that act widens blood vessels.

Cases of hypertension can be quickly found when parents routinely check the child's blood pressure. Another thing to do is to maintain ideal body weight and vigilant when children often experience abdominal pain, recurrent pain, or pain during urination.
