5 Ways to Overcome Stomach Acid Without Drugs

Acid reflux from the stomach into the esophagus that cause chest pain or heartburn are very uncomfortable. Not necessarily with medication, mild disturbances like this can also be overcome in many other ways.

Medicines to overcome heartburn because stomach acid is actually widely sold and some of them can be bought without a doctor's prescription to use. But if they can be overcome by natural means, why should the drug?

2. baking soda

"Baking soda can be used on the majority of people with chest pain due to stomach acid. Nature alkaline, can help neutralize the acid," said Jacqueline Wolf, MD, medical experts from Harvard Medical School.

Wolf recommendation is to mix 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of baking soda into a glass of water. However, if stomach acid up too often, looking the other way as baking soda or sodium bicarbonate containing salts that have side effects nausea vomiting.

3. aloe vera

"Aloe vera can relieve inflammation in the esophagus (gullet), as well as in the stomach," said Victor Sierpina MD from the University of Texas Medical Branch about the benefits of aloe vera or aloe vera when stomach acid up into the esophagus.

Dr Sierpina suggest 1/2 cup of aloe vera before eating for frequent reflux of stomach acid. Side effects to watch out for is, this juice is a laxative or increase the frequency of bowel movements.

4. ginger

The suggestion that one has to be digested with extreme caution. Ginger is beneficial for patients with reflux of stomach acid when taken in doses only fitting. More than 2-4 grams a day, it can aggravate chest pain due to stomach acid.

Not only delicious and a lot of nutrition, bananas can also be a bidder for people with stomach acid. This fruit can be a natural antacid by coating the walls of the stomach and gastrointestinal tract that are not irritated by stomach acid.
