Prevent Hypertension by Maintain a Healthy Weight

2. Sport for hypertension

If the patient is hypertensive less physical activity, blood pressure may increase. Doing light exercise about 30 minutes a day can help prevent spikes in blood pressure. Health experts recommend people with hypertension to select moderate-intensity exercise such as brisk walking, cycling and jogging.

3. Reducing salt intake

The sodium in salt intake can affect blood pressure and increase the health risks associated with hypertension. Patients with hypertension should limit salt intake to 1,500 mg to keep your blood pressure remains normal.

Do not add too much salt in cooking and avoid eating fast food or packaged foods because they contain high amounts of salt.
